Houses stacked on top of each other like boxes full of lives.

Every window is a different story, a different joy, a different loneliness.

Concrete walls have divided human destinies into small compartments, where life unfolds between thin walls and balconies that are meant to remind us of freedom. In reality, we often just look out of them at more concrete and more rows of identical windows.

Privacy melts away here between floors and walls that are sometimes thinner than human patience.

From the outside, everything looks the same. Rows of windows, repeating balconies, endless blocks of concrete.

And yet, behind every window, a different world exists. Joys, arguments, dreams, and exhaustion. Dozens of lives squeezed just a few metres apart. People who hear each other every day, yet still remain strangers.

Thousands of windows. Thousands of lives.

And yet, so little space for true peace.
